This piece is a half-granny square design, made using instructions from the Hobbii website. I used approximately 500 yards of DK-weight yarn and the hook size recommended on the yarn label.
The yarn pictured is Nora Akari in the color Ashiya, worked with a US G (4.00mm) crochet hook. The border is made with Pima 100 cotton in the color Globe Thistle, using pattern #57 from Around the Corner Crochet Borders by Edie Eckman.
